We'll be giving a concert at the Baptist Church, Old Broughton Road at 7.30 on Wednesday 20th March. The concert is free to attend with a retiring collection to help raise funds for structural repairs in the Church. There will be refreshments in the interval
Macapello will be singing a selection of our very varied repertoire of heartfelt and uplifting songs from all round the world, and there will be a guest spot by up-and-coming local singer-songwriter Eve Caston.
Choirleaders Dave King and Lisa Otter-Barry said ‘we have been using the Baptist Church to rehearse and perform in for the last five years; it’s a great space and we have always been made very welcome, so we wanted to show our gratitude by giving a concert to help raise much-needed funds for the building - so we hope we get a big turnout’.
We had a full house for our last concert in the Church Hall, a Ukraine benefit in 2022. Come and be entertained in a good cause!!
