On Monday 30 April, Macapello sang a variety of a capella songs for the Mayor's Civic Award Ceremony at Melksham Town Hall.
We had originally been asked to sing at the Mayor's Reception in March, but it was cancelled because of heavy snow. This time we went ahead despite forecasts of inclement weather.
It was a short performance, but a sweet one: the Mayor, Councillor Adrienne Westbrook, congratulated us on 'a wonderful performance, which provided a warm welcome to the members of the public, civic award winners and councillors attending the meeting'.
